Jungfrau-Marathon

The Jungfrau-Marathon takes place from 6 to 7 September 2024. Welcome to the largest mountain marathon in the world.

Starting on Interlaken’s main Höhematte thoroughfare in front of the Jungfrau-Victoria Grand Hotel & Spa, the route leads to Lauterbrunnen and from there steeply uphill to the Kleine Scheidegg. Athletes overcome 1800 altitude metres as they run past lush meadows and through idyllic mountain villages. The event is considered one of the most scenic marathons in the world.
