UCI Road and Para-cycling Road World Championships 2024

The UCI Road and Para-cycling Road World Championships will take place in Zurich from September 21 to 29, 2024.

During these nine days, the best cyclists in the world will take part in over 50 races, including more than 40 para-cycling competitions. In addition, two public races will take place in which amateurs can also take part.

Zurich acts as the heart of this major event. All races finish at Sechseläutenplatz, which is the central meeting point for spectators and participants. The elite road races start in Winterthur (men) and Uster (women) and lead over challenging routes with significant climbs such as Kyburg and Zürichbergstrasse.

The event places a strong focus on inclusion and sustainability. The integration of the para-cycling competitions demonstrates the commitment to social inclusion and the recognition of the achievements of athletes with disabilities. Numerous measures also ensure that the event is held in an environmentally friendly manner.
