Located to the east of Lausanne, the Lavaux Vineyard Terraces have been inscribed in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage inventory since 2007. This unique area is a superb choice for an excursion during your seminar or convention.
Mainly Chasselas grapes are cultivated on the picturesque slopes on the north-eastern shore of Lake Geneva. The Chasselas is one of the most important grapes in Switzerland, whether served as an aperitif or with popular cheese dishes, this grape is always a great accompaniment.
Explore this wonderful hilly landscape on the “Train de Vigne” (the Vineyard Train) or organize a hike through the steep vineyard terraces. Most winemakers are happy to offer wine tasting sessions.
